Christmas Day!

My two beautiful granddaughters Mae and Charlotte, who give us so much pleasure throughout the year, we are indeed blessed!

We spent Christmas Day with our son, daughter-in-law and her parents and of course these two sweethearts. It was truly a day of smiles, laughs, good food and wine. We watched the Queen give her annual address to the nation, an address full of thought, compassion for others and love of her people. I am not a royalist per se but I do believe she works tirelessly, something which is expected of her I suppose but she seems to do it without obvious complaint.
