Bridging The Generation Gap

Sophie and her Great-Granddad Ron enjoyed a cuddle when we called in to see him this afternoon with Tess's Christmas cake which we were all too full to have a slice of yesterday

We were trying to get a picture of the two of them to send to Ron's sister Dorothy who is celebrating her 95th birthday today. We managed to phone Dorothy so they could have a chat.

Ironically, despite being 8 years older than her brother, Dorothy has stayed wonderfully fit in mind and body and had celebrated by going out to lunch with friends and being taken for a drive in the country.

We've had a very chilled day, despite Yeovil
losing - again!
