Christmas trees

A horrible wet Boxing Day meant that our planned walk in the Peak district suddenly became rather unappealing so we headed home from John's brother's this morning.  Other areas of northern England are flooding badly so we were lucky that this has been the only impact on us.

The dark gloomy weather meant outdoor photography wasn't going to happen so I had a play with a dollshouse Christmas tree, a piece of card with a star cut in it and the fairy lights on our tree.  With a little help from John in control of the room lights and the torch that lit the small tree! Its the first time I'd played with this effect - and I think that it may merit a bit more playing (and some alternative shapes!) in the future.
