Parked Up!

We left my parents late morning & were relieved to have left when we did as the A69 was badly flooded & expect would have been closed soon after we passed the affected stretch. The Tyne valley is very badly flooded again with the river having burst it's banks in several places. I suspect the houses in Corbridge on Station road will be flooded once again.

We stopped at services near Johnstonebridge where several groups of geese were patrolling the car park. It was very amusing to watch as they were causing traffic chaos as they waddled slowly around the parked cars. Perhaps they thought it was safe to come out now that Christmas Day is past for another year! How quickly it is all over. I hope you all had the Christmas you hoped for.
