You can tell it's cold in here - the fire's lit. Second night in a row too. Some of what's being burnt is chopped up bits of an old bed base unit. Things aren't (quite) so bad that the furniture's being used as fuel. Expecting a new bed to arrive in a week or two.

Dire forecast, but it wasn't so bad this morning. The wet and miserable arrived later. The only times I left the house were to put out some bird food, and saw up wood for the fire. Bit stiff after yesterday's walk - haven't done enough of that for a while.
