Periwinkle

We transplanted some periwinkle about 4 years ago that we found at my husband's hunting camp location.  Some died but some survived and just kept growing but would never get flowers.  

This morning..a flower appeared and there are several more.  It obviously likes all the rain we have been getting or is confused by the spring temperatures in December.
