You know you're in Canada when...

...you think it's a good idea to have a container to keep your bear spray in. You don't want bear spray going off accidentally.

C's lovely son D took me on my favourite pilgrimage to mec.ca . I was there for hours, revelling in the beauty and practicality of their stock and trying to figure out how to ship a couple of canoe paddles home.

Thank you D for a great tour around my hometown. We've all had a slow day - just what the doctor ordered.
