Pretty in pink

Ok, I agree that this belongs with Tiny Tuesday, but while imaging these mealybug specimens today I just really wanted to share one with you. Ever seen a subterranean mealybug this close? I hadn't neither and I work with them occasionally! This is one of the specimens I collected from ant nests and as it looks now this might be a species new to science (or is there perhaps someone out there would could correct me if I'm wrong about this?). So much biodiversity still to be discovered...even in our 'back yards'!
