The Watcher

Another fine sunny day.... And busy with family.... I took a little time out to drive to the Taylor Dam. There beside the lake I came across two photographer friends, Nola and Lloyd. They had set themselves up with cameras, long lenses and tripods and had settled down to observe a pair of coots. These water birds were busy caring for three tiny baby coots.... A very endearing sight.
At home we are busy preparing for special visitors. Tomorrow our future daughter-in-law Mei's family from Japan will be arriving to spend a little time with us. That will be very special for all of us.
