We've been very lucky in this wee corner - lots of rain, wind and missing slates but no floods - OK, a minor one in the attic but not sufficient even to close the mainline railway we have up there. The mild weather and the high rainfall has led to exceptionally green grass for this time of the year - no increased saturation in this image.
A welcome return to routine - breakfast fun with the VIP, a lovely gentle walk with the Professor this afternoon and our son and heir coming for supper. I'm a great fan of the Listening Project on R4 with Fi Glover, but this afternoon's offering from Lebanon was particularly moving. Listen to it if you get the chance.
