Feathers in Flight

More three-dimensional in large.
Goosle alternative: Mr. likes oats

My mother and I went to visit the Goosles this morning: there wasn't much light, but they were on good form. My mother gave them oats and I had the macro lens mounted, so I got some nice close-ups, but chose this heron pic. because I like the way that its (non-flight) feathers (esp. its tassels) are flying... This is a crop of a much larger picture (a less tight crop is visible here).
