Surprise Christmas gift

I've written this before, although I love flowers I don't have green fingers, I usually forget to water my plants. So I'm always delighted when plants survive. This orchid plant has its place in one of the side windows in the living room and it seems to thrive on the once a week ablutions. This is the 4th time it's in bloom, and two buds opened over Christmas, so I'll consider that a surprise Christmas gift.
