Boxing day steam

There was a gathering of Traction engines in Horsham's historic Carfax today, and I decided it might be nice to accompany MR U&L to take a quick look. 
As it turned out it was quite exciting! there were various steam appliances there including a very noisy and very smelly steam fire engine! 
The Traction engines were spectacular, and really shiny, I had a great time searching for unusual angles to take shots from...it was wonderful.
I decided to blip this shot in the end as it shows both the brass writing on the smoke box door and the Christmas tree in the Carfax beyond.
I was so pleased as I walked to this event ( about 3/4 of a mile), and made it despite my bad knee.....I really hope things are looking up!
