Hooded Merganser

We have had a really nice day today. We walked along the beach then mum and I stopped for coffee whilst the men walked the dogs further. 
We had lunch at the ship. Mine was spicy chicken burger followed by pineapple upside down cake (picture in extra shots ). 
We walked back through the bird reserve where we saw this Hooded Merganser it is thought it is the only one in the UK. Their normal place of residence is the US.
