Backstone Beck In Spate

I've never ever seen so much water coming off the moor. The rain was never that heavy but it's just been incessant - and off the back of the ground being completely saturated too. The drains weren't coping. Water has a habit of finding a way through and it did just that - in many inappropriate and surprising places. 

I could have posted shots of the flooded park or the suspension bridge at Ben Rhydding being almost inundated, but this was the most awesome sight for me. It's hard to capture so much energy but this hopefully gives some idea.
