Buttermere evening

This morning we met Trevorearthy & Biblinros (and Chloe of course)

They showed us round Cockermouth including their flood-damaged cottage.  It's all such a shame as everyone thought the flood defences would be enough.

After a nice lunch with them Jane and I headed off to Buttermere and walked around the lake.  It really has been a beautiful day today and it was nice to get out.

We are back home tomorrow after a pleasant and eventful break.  Last night we saw Star Wars at the local cinema.  It was funny to see that some of it was filmed at Derwentwater.

My extra is of the famous, much photographed, "twig".  It's now got its own moat.
