Frangipani tree
We bought my mother in law a Frangipani tree for Christmas - it's to replace a tree that had died and then was blown down about a month or so ago. Having never come across a Frangipani tree, I think they are quite beautiful and the flowers a just lovely.
Today we have waved good bye to my brother in law's mother in law. To paraphrase my father in law, she is very hard work, so we all breathed a sigh of relieve as she was driven off. Clearly, the Christmas spirit can be tested at times.
Our boy has had a day of knocks and bruises, three, so hopefully he's done for a while. There was a knock to the head when he crawled into a table leg, a knock to the head when he was sitting by the chest of draws and toppled over. Then, to top it all off, was sat on the plug in the bath so even has a bruised bottom. Let's hope that tomorrow will be a little better.
We're off out tomorrow, leaving at 7am, which is going to be testing to say the least, to see a farmer in the Motopo's and then have the afternoon in the national park. So long as it's not too hot, it should be a delightful day.
