Dovestones, Oldham

After all the rain over the last few days, we took the opportunity of a blue sky to get some fresh air.

We took a different turn off our usual circuit, then headed back on track on a muddy track. This was a new view for me. Next time, we will walk on towards the Chew Valley Reservoir, to see what that's like.

Walking back, we came to a dead end, and had to climb over a stone wall. The jump down from the wall was a bit tough on my knees.
