Flooding

Although the River Severn has broken it's banks - it could be worse...far far worse here. Splishing and splashing through the shallow water I saw these 2 mallards were  just sitting on the picnic table in the flooded carpark which is near the bank by Lower Lode in Tewkesbury. I have seen the water levels higher.

I feel so sorry for those people who have been hit really badly by all the rain dropped over the last days. Shocking.
