Day out!

We drove over to Edinburgh today, parked the car and took the tram into the centre. After a wee walk through Princes Street Gardens to see the statue of Wojtek the Polish Soldier Bear, we stopped off for a pub lunch. Then it was a stroll through the Old Town and down to the Scottish Parliament. At this point, Iain went for a walk up Arthur's Seat, while the rest of us strolled back up the Royal Mile.
 Our visit to the capital ended with some time spent in Waterstones, where we purchased eight books.  A lovely day out, but tiring too. Two of us slept in the car on the way home. I have to confess, I was one of them!
