We arrived back home this afternoon and here was a fine pelican waiting out on the dock pole for us!  We haven't seen any bird sitting on the poles for the longest time.  Our visit to Boston and to youngest daughter and her family was all too short, but we certainly LOVED being there for Christmas with her and her family, especially the two boys, ages 7 and 9.  What fun to have Christmas morning with small children!!!  Even if it was REALLY early when they woke up!  :)
