Spring Sting

Had a morning cycle with my nephew Owen today along the forth & clyde canal, a pleasant slow ride as we took the winding waterway along to Bowling Basin. The wee man managed to pick up a wasp sting on the way - on his face! poor boy. In an instant we hopped off our bikes and looked at it, realised the sting was gone and just a small mark was left - we had a wee cuddle to assure him everything would be okay, a drink of water, and we were back on our way.

I spent most of the afternoon with Amélie in the garden, it was really warm but also wild showers every 10 or 15 minutes. Uncertain weather.

These spring onions made their way from the vegetable patch in our garden into a Thai green curry paste that I made from scratch in the early evening and we had it for dinner, yum!

Oh, and the Queen came to Clydebank today. . .
