Heron

Went up to the W End for an ashtanga yoga session - very enjoyable, and managed an hour without having a coughing fit. I picked up a few messages on the way home, and in the evening we went across to F and T's place for delicious food, a certain amount of drink, and v enjoyable blether.

From the bus stop I noticed this dark shape against the brightness - herons abound higher up the WoL, but they very rarely visit the Shore. I think the water is generally too muddy for them to see much. Whereas those ducks are having a rare old time snorkelling for goodies.
