" THE DAY THE SUN WAS BORN "
Today we have chilled out as much as possible after Adrian's short visit yesterday. There was a moment at the dining table, he appeared very happy responding to a comment his dad made. It was lovely to see his smile, not something we see very often!!
We took advantage of the dry weather and all went for a walk along the beach. I'm sure he remembered it from a young lad and was happy.
While Mr A took Phoebe for a walk this morning, I worked on my new commissions. This is the largest work I have done and I need a new work board to cope with it. It will be 24" square (60cms for those who understand ) and the glass is costing over £100 for this and the moon square. I reckon it will take me over 4 weeks to complete and will hang on the stair windows of a Special Care unit in Torquay.
It's good to get work and I'm learning all the time.
The smaller picture is of a beautiful Christmas cake made by my new friend Belinda. (You may remember I made her house No. 1 sign).
I hope you have all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and now looking forward to the start of a new year. I wish all of you suffering with germs, good health and the strength to shake them out!!
Love always. xxxxx
