King Arthur's Retreat

Me, Mrs. K and Danielle headed southwest to Newquay for a short break and stopped off at Tintagel for lunch and a wander around the cliff tops which overlook the castle ruins, these having legendary links with King Arthur and his knights of the round table.

We didn't cross the bridge, not least of which because you have to pay, plus we didn't have much spare time... and I'm not great with heights truth be told. Photography leads me to be more courageous than I otherwise would, several shots having been captured with the camera pointing over the cliff edge and me looking the other way!!  

Our accommodation is just fab. Now preparing for dinner somewhere downtown.

The boys are in charge at home. Mmmm.....
