The Spa Bridge
Constructed in 1827 as a bridge over Ramsdale
Beck flowing into the South Bay, this delightful
promenade afforded easy access for residents
and visitors to all the attractions of Scarborough's
Spa which by then included musical entertainment
as well as the taking of a variety of more appealing
beverages than the famous health restoring waters.
