Time travelled
A day spent mostly on the London ring-road car park hitherto known as the M25 and M40 on this Bank Holiday Monday, our destination being the picturesque market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire, to meet cousin Christina (Dad's niece) and her partner, for lunch and catch up in the Punchbowl Inn (pictured). Although my chauffeur brother suggested turning around a couple of times during the more than three hours we were on the road, of course we didn't, and of course we had a lovely time once we got there - although we did agree that next time we must avoid Bank Holidays and then maybe we'd have enough time to stroll around after lunch, maybe even visit Blenheim Palace, and I would be able to take more than one photograph! Positively raced home, covering the hundred miles in just under two hours.
Later: Just got an auto email from Blip reminding me that with this entry, my 1,092nd, I am now just three away from completing three years on blipfoto. Deep stress at the pressure of coming up with an original entry two days in a row - 31st for three years and then of course, again on 1st January 2016, to meet the request from blip future .
