Picking up today, this was from Common Wood  over what should have been a field of winter wheat where the guns would line out! Not Ings land but submerged at present. We where close to York and the there was the constant thudding as military helicopters ferried pumps sandbags and other kit into the city.
The lose of so much by so many is a little difficult process.
