Metallic

I've wanted to do the steel wool thing where you spin it around, long exposure and capture the sparks. I know that isn't strictly metallic but the link was tenuous enough for me so I was looking in my garage for some steel wool. I know it's there somewhere. I found some nails instead and had another idea.  Initially, I just put the nails in a pile and played with the angle and lighting. Then I thought of spelling a word. However, the nails I found were too long to get this comfortably on a piece of A4, so I downsized my props to make it a little easier. The thing with shooting on a white background is that it really shows up how much you need to clean your sensor. I'm not comfortable doing that. I need to get it done though.
