After lunch, MrM drove us down to Alnmouth so his dad could see something of the area, and Louie could enjoy a walk on the beach. The sea was quite wild! 

Then back up to Alnwick for a stroll round the town and coffee and cake.

Haven't been 100% for the past week, since taking the first of a new type of tablet for high BP. Felt decidedly unwell in Alnwick, and (good job I wasn't driving) felt faint in the car on the way back.  Had a lie down for an hour on getting home - very unlike me!

Revived a little after a meal, and felt much better after a glass of red...
