It's Christmas

Or it was.

This is the only decoration we managed to get up this year.  Shocking attempt.  My cold knocked out begining of December and Steve's then took out the second half.

Not to say that we haven't socialised and been sociable in our own way but our house isn't visibly full of Christmas cheer and this is looking like we are in for a quiet wee hogmanay also.  

Today was mostly a chore day post our trip to Scotland - washing, shopping, cooking, cuddling the cats and watching a series of movies.

Highly recommend to avoid (which is a shame as it has David Tennant in it) - The Decoy Bride.  Save yourself the 1.5 hours.  Although I am still watching it and it just keeps getting worse and worse......
