Early light on Edinburgh.

An early morning tram ride into Edinburgh had us on Princess Street just as the shops were opening. Sufficiently early that there was no traffic in the Scottish capital and no people either!
We spent a very happy morning perusing the mountainerring shops, with various purchases to keep us either warm, or stylish, or both (!) on the hill.
Shopping done, there was not enough time to actually get out onto the hills - arghhh - but we at least managed the hour loop around Ratho golf course and canal, with me wearing all my new kit, to test it out.
