Mad Hatter

We went to Llandudno today and Amanda, Connor and I went down Great Orme Copper Mine which was fascinating.

Then after lunch we went for a walk along the promenade in the pouring rain. Halfway along there was a carving of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. It was excellent, if not quite sinister.

I know that had I been a child it would have scared me to death, just like the child catcher did in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Actually, despite being nearly 40, the child catcher still terrifies me.
