2015 Sunday -- Marinara Sauce

I've never been a fan of plain marinara sauce. A year ago, because of Mr. Fun's doctor's strong request, we began eating a vegan diet -- no meat; no dairy. I love red meat sauce, but since we've stopped eating meat, I thought that meatless marinara sauce would be rather bland. This past year I've order oil and garlic sauce each time we've been out for pasta.

A couple weeks ago we discovered the most favorful marinara sauce at a little Italian restaurant, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, in the city of Norco, which is just north of us. So today I was just craving more of that marinara sauce. So we stopped-in at Filippi's. The photo is my proof.
