Suffering for your Art

Ruth has been felting recently, using long, sharp, felting needles to work the wool into intricate designs.  Being Ruth she's working in miniature so each of these is around 3cm in diameter.  Being Ruth also involves the potential for mishaps and as I type she is en-route to A&E to see if they can remove around 5mm of needle from under a fingernail.  this would have been simple enough had the needle not snapped on impact, leaving nothing outside her finger to pull on :-(

At least it's not a Bank Holiday - we were up there on Boxing Day a few years back!
