The Little Blue Sleigh

The first snow of the winter fell early this morning, followed by sleet, freezing rain and then plain rain--all very light, but it made for a messy, unpleasant day.  Even so, this was a light-hearted sight, passing opposite our house.

Mind you, it followed on a December that saw much the warmest temperatures in recorded weather history (in the east, at least).
