Mosman Bay via Cremorne Point to Circular Quays
We enjoyed breakfast on the Quays this morning and then waited in line for our ferry to Mosman Bay. The amount of people Quay side is incredible!! Everyone wanting to go to the Zoo it would appear today.
Thankfully we chose a quieter option today, thanks to fellow Blipper Feather who suggested a walk for us to do.
We walked from Mosman Bay to Cremorne Point, a easy walk with beautiful views and huge houses to admire! The views of the city from that side are stunning, people living that side will have a fabulous view tomorrow of the fireworks.
We decided not to get the ferry back and continue our walk to Harbour Bridge and into the Quays. 6 miles completed today.
We have picked up our 'passes' so that have access to the Quays and to our building for tomorrow. The Botanical gardens will be shut from 3pm tomorrow and the roads up to and around the Opera House and Bridge will also close early. Security appears to be discrete but high. Getting around tomorrow will be a challenge for sure!
We will go up to the Victoria Building early tomorrow to buy some food and champagne and will then be absorbing the atmosphere from our balcony for the rest of the day.
Anyway, back at our apartment now and will be getting ready for dinner in an hour or so. Good job we were organised and made table reservations when we first arrived in Sydney!
