HEADLESS

Kept my daily appointment with myself! Following a simple dinner with a Maltese priest - Fr Emmanuel Buttigieg - what has been working in Calgary for many years. I walked downtown again to see, and taste and smell the final preparations for the stampede with kicks of with a parade on Friday morning.

Walking through Stephen Avenue [8th Avenue] I couldn't help but notice mannequins in shop windows, all headless! And wondered for a moment how many of the moving people walking through the streets in downtown Calgary with earphones plugging their ears were in fact walking headless and mindless!
