Light in the darkness

Spent as much of the morning as I could outside before the next tranche of bad weather reached us!  Washed the salt spray off the front windows and then, in a moment of madness, decided to wash the car too.  This is a rare occurrence, so much so that one time a neighbour asked me if we were selling it as he'd never seen me doing it before!

Back inside and I tackled the mountain of ironing then settled myself for an evening of knitting.  I'm enjoying myself immensely knitting something special at the moment.  You have a treat in store!
