It´s  very seldom that I´m awake late in night, but last night I was. I sat in my armchair in the light from the Christmas tree, all alone. The rest of the family were all asleep. Our cat woke up and wondered with big eyes what I was doing up so late (or rather early). 
So peaceful it was, only me, a book worth reading and a cup of tea.
