Front Porch Democracy

Living downtown has its advantages, and seeing the city's 4th of July's fireworks from our front porch is one of them. Despite dry conditions, Lexington proceeded with its planned holiday display but banned all other fireworks. We love our old neighborhood. Like our country with its diversity and history, it enriches our lives and provides us a comfortable home.
