The Christmas Table returns to normal.

On the way home from work, I went to Mum and Dad's and helped to return their table to its pre Christmas state. This table was purchased by Mum and Dad for £10.00 back in the 1960's and is normally round. However, when required, a handle can be inserted at one end, which when wound, opens the table. Then, it can be extended with up to two sections, transforming it into a large oval table. At the same end of the table, there is a button which, at some time in its history, would have been used to ring a bell to summon staff to come to the table. Not a feature that has ever worked since I have known it!!
