Northern lights?

Today we drove north to stay with my father for Xmas. The roads were surprisingly empty and we made the journey from Hampshire to Lancashire in the theoretical 4 hours it is possible to do. We made sufficient time that we went for a walk after we arrived to stretch our legs. Today's Xmas Eve back-blip is one of the public lights used to brighten the town up. We even nipped into the local Aldi for some last minute bargain shopping from their recent cycling range of stuff - a bit of a jumble but we found a few bargains...!
