You Can't Have Too Much Cake

Back to my niece's for Boxing Day and more food!  This time we were joined by my nephew and his fiancée.  Somehow, amid all the catering preparations for Christmas (and packing to go on a well-deserved New Year's break to Tenerife the next day), my niece managed to bake and decorate this delicious cake.  Mum was given a huge slice of it after lunch.  As she is a small eater, we told her she didn't have to eat it all if it was too much.  But to my amazement, Mum did manage to finish it.  She said it was too good to leave any :-)
