I'm not enjoying this new phenomena of naming storms.

Frank has turned out to be a bit of a wash out; again, like Abigail, Barney, Clodagh, Desmond and Eva before him.  Gertrude is next, and I'm holding out great hopes for her.    Google "Famous Gertrudes", under images, and you will behold the stormiest looking females I have ever seen.

(I'm not belittling the floods, and troubles people are having, like having to be airlifted from a bus - but it was hardly Frank that did it, just the continued relentless flood of rain).

I'm not enjoying this spell between Christmas and New Year, and back to normal again.

The thrill of keeping a secret and revealing it, and then my secret disappearing to the darkest wilds (it's not really dark at all, it is very sunny) of Afrika, has left me on a slightly downward trend.

I'm not expecting it to last.  K wants to eat;  that always cheers me up, and she has has ideas to get through Hogmany which would probably end up with people being arrested.   Or sleeping a lot.  Either way, both sound like an option.
