Storm Frank hits Scotand

Well we expected a real battering but so far we have escaped lightly compared to some parts of Scotland.
 
Yes we have had plenty of rain and wind, something we are already beginning to accept as normal.
 
The Allan Water River is in flood but again nothing as spectacular as we have seen.
 

Even our local newspaper The Stirling Observer carried a letter today from our mild mannered conservative councillor saying that climate change is with us and there should be no more building on flood plains no matter what incentives developers may offer the council.
