Puzzle night...

Working away on our new Christmas puzzle -The Original Six hockey scene. 1000 pieces, with about 5 missing as kitty loves helping. She steals my chair when I get up and deftly swipes puzzle pieces on to the floor. I laugh and enjoy this game while my sweetie gives us dirty looks. If any of these pieces are missing in the end, we are in big trouble! (I much prefer the kitty's game). Chilly day but still not as cold as it usually is this time of year. Loaded up the car with our figure and hockey skates so we can go skating in downtown Toronto on New Years Eve. Young son unfortunately lost UK hockey game tonight after leading most of the game; and cousins TBay and Mr TBay were so kind to make the long trek to watch and have a visit with him. It was so appreciated to have their support! Long chat with eldest son as he heads off to a big birthday party. Very interesting details on the small earthquake that scared the Vancouver, BC area late last night - everyone was describing it as if a truck drove in to your house.
