The hills were alive

This is the girls sitting on booster seats
At the Lowry theatre... What a fab idea
And free of charge ... So i didn't mind paying the inflated price of £5 for two packets of sweets.... The show " The Sound of Music
Was really good ... What voices they all had
( except for Captain Vontrapp who I think must have had a sore throat)....
The Vontrapp children were particularly good ....a first experience of musical theatre
For the girls ( 9 and 6 years )....
Alexia ( 6 )....was a bit fidgety during speaking parts ( she kept disturbing Georgina by tickling her ) oh dear!
Luckily the people behind were fine and found it amusing ..... I was mortified
A great day out... Then back home on the Tram.....
