Last sunrise ..

..of 2015!

At least there was a sunrise this morning. Walking at the same time yesterday it remained dark for virtually the whole walk.

We did our usual St Ives Estate circuit this morning but half an hour later. We could see the ball of fire that was the sun through the trees and then as we emerged onto the pylon field the views were bright and clear.

I took lots of shots and think some of them were a better composition than this but as the sun started to disappear into a band of cloud it seemed to illuminate Lister's Mill Chimney on the horizon in Bradford so I zoomed in to capture it.

A brighter but colder day to end the year. Still lots of people suffering from the recent floods. I do hope they can look forward to a happy new year.

Let's  hope that there is a happy new year for Blipfoto too.
