End of the year

After a stormy night, the weather was better today, although still very windy. I had to pop in to the office today, as although 'officially' we are closed until the 4th January, everyday one of us goes in just to check that there are no problems. Luckily it was fine today. 

Once home, and after lunch, I took Daisy to the beach. I was surprised to see that the little 'stream' of water from the fields that I can normally step over had grown dramatically into a raging torrent, that was too wide to jump over. Luckily I had my wellies on an carrying Daisy I carefully waded through it, the strength of the water was astonishing. The photo doesn't show it, but there is also a drop of about 1-2 meters just below this waterfall. Mother Nature is something else!
